About Cory Cantrell

My name is Cory Cantrell. Baseball has shaped my entire life, from little league to adulthood, defining my world. My dream of becoming a professional player was crushed by a shoulder injury during junior college, leading me to a new path in the construction industry. Enduring strenuous labor and harsh conditions, I yearned for something different. Amidst the misery, a new dream emerged—a life as a graphic designer, creating beauty instead of installing metal in buildings filled with educated professionals I admired.

Now on my way to earning a degree in graphic design, I occupy my time by challenging myself with freelance work and personal projects. I explore a wide range of design styles and aspects, from illustrations to posters and everything in between. I avoid getting stuck in one specific area of graphic design and constantly strive to expand my skill set. For me, graphic design represents a second lease on life and serves as a reminder that work can be enjoyable if you work hard enough to achieve it. As I progress along this path, I will continue to open every door of opportunity and see where it leads me.
